Geography
In our work on Geography we want your child to learn about both the natural and the human worlds. We aim to increase their knowledge of places and environment throughout the world. Your child will gain an understanding of maps and will participate in investigations and problem solving activities inside and outside the classroom. We seek to give an understanding about other societies and cultures helping your child to recognize how nations rely on each other. Geography can inspire children to think about their own place in the world, their values, and their rights and responsibilities to other people and the environment.
We use an adapted version of Rising Stars Geography curriculum to match these aims.
